Dovilla, Patten Unopposed on Primary Ballot

Both will advance to November election in Ohio House District 7 race

State Rep. Mike Dovilla will advance to the November general election unopposed, with no other Republicans filing for the newly renamed House District 7.

Likewise for Democratic challenger Matt Patten, who is also unopposed on the ballot March 6.

It will be the second time the two have faced off, with Dovilla unseating Patten in 2010 in what is currently the 18th District. The district, which includes Strongsville, Berea, North Royalton, Olmsted Falls and Olmsted Township, will be renamed District 7 next year.
