The apparatus is being donated by BCI Burke, a Wisconsin company that manufactures commercial playground equipment, according to a news release from the company.

The release said the company received thousands of entries and drew one winner—Strongsville.

The playground features eight "play events," the firm said, and can accommodate up to 48 kids ages 5 to 12 at a time.

Bogre said the city's service department will install the equipment, which is supposed to be shipped Sept. 19.

"We're excited about it," he said. "We hope to have it in by the end of September."
