About 300 kids and parents were at the city-sponsored Halloween Hullabaloo at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center Friday night.
Kids jumped in inflatables, played games, learned dance moves and had snacks during the three-hour event.
With rain pouring and winds gusting outside, it was a good decision to move the party -- previously held at The Chalet -- indoors this year, event coordinator Sarah Arold said.
"We wanted to try something new," Arold said. "And for the last few years, we've had rain and it's been cold."
Missing were the traditional hayrides, but new this year were the inflatables.
Also, local companies sponsored the games and handed out treats. Helping make the event a success were Lemonberry Frozen Yogurt, Sweet Kiddles Flexible Daycare, Samurai Sushi, Firefly's Mini-Golf and Longhorn Steakhouse.
