BRUNSWICK -- The rain didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm for presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in Brunswick Sunday.
The Plain Dealer estimated that some of the 2,500 and 3,000 who showed up at Mapleside Farms in Brunswick for the free pancakes and to listen to the candidate speak, waited for hours in the rain.
In his first of three bus stops in Ohio Sunday, Romney compared the parting clouds to the country's economic future, according to the Washington Post.
“The sun is coming out, guys! Three-and-a-half years of dark clouds are about to part. It’s about to get a little warmer around this country, a little brighter,” Romney said, according to The New York Times blog The Caucus.
Romney's wife, Ann, two of his sons and four of his 18 grandchildren attended the Father's Day event. Also joining him was Ohio Rep. Senator Rob Portman, considered a possible vice presidential candidate, according to The Washington Post.
Romney also made an appearance on the CBS television show Face the Nation Sunday and said he thought President Barack Obama's recent executive order on immigration was political. But Romney did not say whether he would appeal it, according to the Boston Globe.

I would like to believe that whatever the religion, they can personally follow their faith, but not allow it to take precedence in governing a country of so many diverse religions. If religion is such a factor, we should only allow atheists and agnostics to run for office.
You are free to like, dislike, hate, or dispise President Obama, but when you resort to slandering his name, you lose all credibilty as being sincere in what you say.
So, Myron -- which one are you? Far right or the left? Hypocrite.
Oh really? Like what? Name AT LEAST 3 -- and do NOT include "Obamacare" since that's not been implemented yet -- that he's done to destroy this country. And while you're at it, back it up with proven data that doesn't come from your favorite partisan websites. Anyone with intelligence (which obviously includes the likes of you) consider Congress to be the most destructive for our country than any other. But the likes of you usually don't know how the branches of government operate, either.
And just to disclose this to everyone, I do not get all of my news from a comedy show. I have 2 degrees in history, I read and I pay attention to the world. This show just does a great job of pointing on the insanity of what is going on. And people are still standing by their convictions that he is going to do this and do that. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-may-29-2012/communist-central http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-may-29-2012/communist-central---obama-s-socialist-scheme 2 minute mark on this one. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mon-june-4-2012/norman-j--ornstein---thomas-e--mann Ronald Regan http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-february-22-2012/bruce-bartlett http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-february-22-2012/indecision-2012---president-evil
1) Richard Cordray appointment as a recess nomination while congress was still in session (Congress has the constitutional obligation to vet presidential appointees) 2) printed up over 2 trillion dollars worth of bills "out of the air with no backing driving costs of goods up 3) offshore drilling ban after the courts over-ruled his decisions (which his administration is in contempt of court over)

I'm ok with the fact that you disagree with me.
If the exchange of opinions in this thread, (some more heated than others) can cause you to request your profile/account/comments to be withdrawn, I'd sure hate to in a position where I'd only have you to depend on.
I post what I think is of interest. I'm not as concerned as you over who wrote or said what I post, as as I know, and I'm sure you know as well, there is no such thing as a fair and non-biased source out there.
