Toboggan Chutes Will have Special Hours Monday

Families can spend their day off at the Chalet

Looking for something for the kids to do when they're off school Monday?

Tobogganing at will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, according to Cleveland Metroparks.

The chutes will be open through March 11, weather permitting, on the regular days of operation:

  • Thursdays: 6 - 10 p.m. (Scene Magazine Student ID Nites - All Students with a Valid I.D. Pay $5)
  • Fridays:  6 - 10:30 p.m.                           
  • Saturdays:  noon - 10:30 p.m.           
  • Sundays:  noon - 5 p.m.

Admission fee, including the use of toboggans and unlimited rides for the day, is $8 for adults and $6 for children, 11 and under. One-time ride tickets are also available for $3. Group discounts are available, too.

Tobogganing may be canceled or the hours changed due to unfavorable weather and/or ice conditions. All riders must wear gloves or mittens. Children must be at least 42 inches tall to ride and be accompanied by an adult.
