Seven Strongsville homes in foreclosure are scheduled to go to sheriff's sale in November, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's website.
In October, 11 homes were sold at auction, and one other was withdrawn from the sale list by orders of the court.
Some properties may be added to or deleted from this list during November.
Building Commissioner Tony Biondillo said inspectors check each foreclosed home every three months, and make special weekly visits in the summer to be sure the grass is being mowed.
If not, the city does it and bills the owner.
"We physically inspect every one of these properties quarterly," Biondillo said.
The homes on the November list are described as single-frame dwellings with attached garages.
