Looks Like Strongsville Schools are 'Excellent' Again

Superintendent gets early indicator on state report card

The state report cards won't be released until later this month, but Superintendent Jeff Lampert said it appears Strongsville will earn another "excellent" rating -- its 10th in a row.

"It will be the 10th consecutive excellent, which is no small accomplishment," Lampert said.

The state rates school districts every year on performance.

Lampert said that while he does not have official word, the district received 26 out of 26 indicators for excellence.

"Thank you to all who work with our children day to day to achieve this," School Board President Jennifer Sinisgalli said.

The word came two days after voters trounced a that would have restored cut programs like middle school language classes.
