News of the Week: New Businesses; Teachers' Strike Ends 3rd Week

Teachers strike part 1 -- A round of negotiations on St. Patrick's Day brings no progress in settling a contract dispute. Strongsville High School returns to full-day classes on Monday, and spring sports practices resume on Tuesday. The School Board cancels its regular monthly meeting.

Teachers strike part 2 -- The teachers' union starts protesting in front of School Board members' workplaces, in additon to their homes. Mayor Tom Perciak appeals to both sides to meet in his office to negotiate, but the School Board says no. A fourth teacher crosses the picket line. Student attendance tops 90 percent and the numbe of substitutes nears 300.

Market District on track -- Giant Eagle says the new supermarket should open on time.
