Photos of the Day: Kids Pick Up Clothes (Now That's News!)

Jokes aside, Strongsville Youth Commission donates time to help people in need

Members of the Strongsville Youth Commission spent their Sunday folding and packing clothes as part of their Business Clothing Drive.

The youth group collected shirts, suits, ties, pants, dresses, skirts, blouses and other attire at the  during March to help people who are down on their luck and trying to re-enter the workforce.

They are donating the clothing to Stella MarisHitchcock Center for Women, and Transitional Housing. These non-profit organizations assist individuals who are trying to recover from situations, including poverty, and trying to find jobs.

The drive was organized by the People Preventing Poverty subgroup of the , which includes Sean McManus, Matt Stauder, Jeff Ding, Marisa Supanich, Shannon Novak, Emma Middeldorf and adult mentor Brenda Kammer.
