'Strongsville Idol' Shines Amid Strike

Strongsville High School students organized and performed during "Teen Idol" this weekend, reports our news partner at WEWS Channel 5.

Despite the teachers' strike, there is some happy news coming from Strongsville schools.

On Saturday Strongsville High School students put on a show by themselves showcasing their singing talent,  our news partner at WEWS Channel 5 reports.

Strongsville High School Teen Idol featured fifteen contestants who belted out some of their favorite songs. There were three judges who found the talent impressive.

The show was sponsored by the choral club and was organized by students, who are also planning another show in May.

The Strongsville teachers strike is entering its eighth week after negotiations broke down between the Strongsville Teachers Association and school board on Sunday.
