Black Knights Win Strongsville Cage Classic

Sixth-grade AAU basketball team finishes season 26-1

The Black Knights sixth-grade AAU basketball team finished up its impressive season by winning the Strongsville Cage Classic over Easter weekend.

The boys also finished a  nearly perfect AAU season, going 26 and 1 overall winning four out of the five tourneys they entered. The Knights averaged 48.5 points per game, only allowing 27 points per game and defeating their opponents by an average margin of 21.5 points.

The are all looking forward to continuing on individually for their schools and then returning back together for another fun AAU season.

The Knights are made up of 10 players from eight different communities around Northeast Ohio. 

The team was formed three years ago and is coached by Jim Schmock (head coach) and assistant coaches Bob McClure, Troy Robinson and Jim McLaughlin.
