Center Middle School Girls Take Basketball Title
It's the second year in a row for eighth-graders
After an amazing regular season with only two losses -- Hillside and Claggett -- eighth-grade girls took the NOCSML Championship Title Feb. 9.
The girls, coached by Brian Wilson, played a heart-stopping game against North Royaton and won it all in the last few seconds, 25-24, when Sydney Sallee sank the last basket of an unforgettable season.
Center eighth grade girls also won the championship in 2011.
