The seventh grade boys basketball team at Center Middle School went 14-0 in the regular season, breaking the school record for winning percentage.
The boys also set a school record for most points scored in a game.

The team is coached by Mike Boyle.
"I have to say that Coach Boyle did an outstanding job with these kids, and he is one of those coaches that parents hope their children will be coached by!" one parent said in an email to Strongsville Patch. "He motivated these boys, instilled in them them the need to be respectful, responsible and driven both on the court and in life -- he even had them dress up in dress shirt and tie on game day, to remind them that it was a privilege and an honor to have been selected to be on this team and to represent your school and family."
