Girls Soccer Team Honored by City
State champion Mustangs recognized by mayor, council, state officials
The was recognized Monday by city and state officials for winning the state chamionship.
Mayor Tom Perciak said the achievement "is something that will stay with you all your lives" as he and Council President Mike Daymut handed out awards to each of the players.
State Rep. Mike Dovilla and State Sen. Tom Patton also read proclamations and congratulated Coach Jon Felton.

Felton said the outstanding season was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the girls and said "they couldn't do it without the help of the city."
