Abbey Yaugher of Holy Name High School hits four home runs in a game

 

A Strongsville girl who attends Holy Name High School has broken a state girls softball record for home runs in a single game, the school reports.

Sophomore Abbey Yaugher belted out four home runs April 4 against Cleveland Central Catholic, recording 9 RBIs.

In the same game the Lady Namers tied the state record for team homers in a single game with seven. 

"Abbey has been unstoppable lately. In consecutive games against Trinity, Abbey recorded a 4 for 5 outing with a double, a triple, 2 RBIs and 3 runs,  followed by a game when she hit her 5th HR,  driving in three more runs," the school reported on its website.

Abbey has helped the Lady Namers to a 5-0 NCL White Division Record.
