Mall Hosts Party in Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Westfield SouthPark, Southwest General team up for weekend events

Southwest General Health Center and Westfield SouthPark will host a weekend of events to support breast cancer awareness and early detection.

A Party In Pink
A Party that Celebrates Survival
Oct. 14-16, 6-8 p.m.
Tickets will be available for $5 at the Westfield SouthPark Concierge.

Festivities will include:

  • The 11th Annual Breast Cancer Survivor Make-Over Fashion Show
  • Entertainment
  • Free goodie bag
  • Refreshments
  • Free photo station
  • Make and take craft station
  • Door prizes

Everyone who dresses in pink will receive a gift courtesy of Westfield SouthPark retailers and participating vendors.

Ticket sales will benefit Southwest General's "Fight Like a Girl" program for breast cancet patients.

Why Pink?
Saturday, Oct. 15, 1-3 p.m.
An event to help family & friends better understand how to support someone fighting breast cancer. Activities will include story time, crafts, face painting, snacks and more.

Pinktober Fest
An Afternoon Polka Party with a Twist of PINK
Sunday, Oct. 16, 1-3 p.m.
An outdoor event with a polka band, dance performances and dancing under the porte cochere at the main entrance of Westfield SouthPark.

Be sure to wear pink to celebrate survival. All survivors will be asked to register to be honored throughout the event. Bring your lawn chairs. The event will take place indoors in the event of rain.
