3. Rubber stampers and scrapbookers — Will have an event Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center featuring shopping, exhibits, demonstrations, make and takes, door prizes and dream basket raffle.
4. Health Fair — St. Joseph Church will have its fifth annual health fair Sunday, oct. 6 at the church, 12700 Pearl Rd., with blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, bone density testing, plus experts on health, nutrition and fitness.
5. Vote by mail starts Oct. 1 — You must apply for a ballot this year; the Board of Elections will not mail them out unless requested. Apply online at
