Don't go to this Strongsville, OH Jared store ever! On July 8,2011 I paid to custom and redesign a wedding band in platinum with Amy. I waited almost 3 months, since they did not make it correctly the first time. I finally received the ring on 9/16/11. Two weeks later I went to another jeweler to look at bands for the ring. I found out that the ring was NOT platinum after all......it is 14K white gold, even though Jared charged me for platinum. I also found the diamond, that I had for 12 years, was chipped by their onsite shop.....underneath the prong while setting it. The worst part is that no one told me anything!!! They saw my ring several times, since I was looking at wedding bands there after my ring came in. When I visited a different jeweler, they were able to tell me it wasn't platinum in a matter of seconds.......simply by holding it in their hands due to the weight. I spent several hours of my time dealing with this unethical place, and now I have nothing. The most upsetting part is that the diamond I received from my husband 12 years ago has to be replaced, because of them. They are also giving me a very hard time with the refund amount, since I traded my original wedding bands in at the time of the sale. Stay away from this dishonest jewelry store.
