La Chateau is a small wine and martini bar located in the Staples shopping plaza on Pearl Road. Just a few minutes from Westfield Southpark Mall, La Chateau's aesthetically displeasing exterior is a bit misleading. The inside of the facility boasts plush sofas, ample table seating, a posh-looking bar and even a piano. Overall, the place is reminscent of a high-end wine bar somewhere in New York City. Locally famous for its martinis and abundant imported wine selections, La Chateau is a real diamond in a sea of plain bar-and-grill-style establishments.
