Let me make sure I understand this scenario: Your in a 6th floor apartment, your daughter is 8 yearsRead More old, her friend is 11, and you wonder if your too "over protective" because you said NO to them going outside to play alone? ONLY AN IDIOT would have said yes! What would you do if you saw a guy grab your kid and shove her into a van? What could you do from 6 floors up? Be a "good witness"? I'm for letting kids play. But I will be nearby with a loaded 45 automatic under my shirt. :)

I don't think its overprotection,I call it being safe.It only takes a second for anything to happen.

Yesterday this article was titled "Enjoy An Extra Hour Sunday As Daylight Saving TimeRead More Ends". Well, at least this was fixed and people won't be changing their clocks based on what they read on the home page yesterday,...maybe. Let's face it. We need our old editors back (and definitely need the old format that was reader friendly). First, this was a really dumb mistake. Second, why print this over a week before? Too bad this is what they find so newsworthy that they had to tell us about it so early - maybe they wanted to be the first news outlet to break this big news event! The Patch editors must really be having a hard time coming up with articles to fill this outlet with.
