Mega Monday? More like Mega Madness
The day-after-Christmas sales brought thousands of shoppers to SouthPark mall, causing a somewhat chaotic atmosphere.
In a matter of hours, thousands of shoppers descended upon Strongsville’s Westfield SouthPark mall to return those unwanted gifts and to capitalize on scores of Mega Monday deals. However, getting to the mall was no easy feat. Highway lanes were jammed, roadways were clogged and SouthPark’s lots were chock full of cars, mall police and pedestrians. The inside of the 150-plus store mall wasn’t much different. Foot traffic moved at a somewhat chaotic clip as shoppers hop-scotched from one store window to the next, feasting their eyes on slashed prices and special discounts.
