No Battle for Patton, Brady in Ohio Senate Primary
Only one Republican, one Democrat running in 24th District
The March 6 primary for the 24th District Ohio Senate seat will be a quiet one, with no opposition on the ballot. Incumbent Republican Tom Patton will advance unopposed to the November general election. Likewise for Democratic challenger Jennifer Brady, who filed as a write-in candidate. Independent candidates have until March 5 -- the day before the primary -- to file to run for the post. Patton, 58, of Strongsville, is seeking his second term as 24th District representative to the Ohio Senate.
