Find treasures at annual event
The annual White Elephant Sale is set for Feb. 7 and 8 at the Ehrnfelt Senior Center. Visitors are welcome to browse through the items. There is no admission fee. Donations of items to be sold (no clothing, please) will be accepted at the Senior Center the week before the sale. The sale runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Feb. 8.

Art in Our Lives runs all week
The annual Art in Our Lives exhibit runs this week at the Ehrnfelt Senior Center, 18100 Royalton Rd., featuring the work of area seniors, their three instructors and four woodcarvers. Dozens of paintings display the talents of seniors who take part in the center's art classes. Some of the pieces are for sale. There is also a raffle to win some pieces designed by the instructors. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 6-9; and 9 a.m. to noon Friday, June 10.

The Ehrnfelt Senior Center, 18100 Royalton Road, will celebrate the arrival of 2011 with a brunch at 10 a.m. The event will include music, games and an early countdown to the new year.
