First Nestle Cafe in Ohio Opens in Strongsville

Shop serves cookies, more at SouthPark Mall

Ohio's first Nestle Toll House Café by Chip has opened at SouthPark Mall. The shop, located in the corridor of the mall's main entrance, near Sephora, offers Nestle's signature cookies, as well as macaroons, cupcakes, and brownies. The cafés also serve ice cream, premium coffee drinks, frozen yogurt and real fruit smoothies. The first of the businesses opened in August 2000, and franchises have since spread across the country, according to the company's website. Emily Hartwig, senior account executive for Fishman Public Relations, said the company plans to open 10 new locations in the Cleveland area within the next seven to 10 years.
