The little guy just needs a chance
Froggy made his first appearance on Strongsville Patch back in March, and he's still at the Berea Animal Shelter, waiting for a home. Froggy is a 2-year old all black male cat who is a sweetheart of a guy -- he gets along great with other cats and really loves tummy rubs and head skritches. Froggy is still a little shy, but you can tell he really wants to be out and about with everyone -- he just hasnt figured out how yet. Froggy would do best in a quiet home filled with lots of love and patience. Berea Animal Rescue is at 390 Barrett Rd., Berea, 44017.

Maraschino needs a home
Maraschino, an eight-month-old female tabby with unique brown and white markings, wants to be in charge! She definitely likes things on her terms. She can be very playful, but not so much with other cats -- she's not sure if she likes them yet. When she's cuddly, she has a great purr and will do a good job keeping your lap warm. She can't wait to get into her forever home where she can finally be herself and relax. The Berea Animal Shelter is at 390 Barrett Rd., Berea, 44017.

McKenna was dumped at Berea Animal Rescue by her family
McKenna doesn't like change and change is about the only constant shes had in her young life! She arrived at the shelter in a cardboard box, dumped there by the people she loved. She's always hoping someone will notice her and pet her, and then she hopes they'll never stop. McKenna would gladly go through the hassle of one more stressful move if it could be to a quiet forever home, with loving people. She is current on all vaccines and has been spayed. Berea Animal Rescue is at 390 Barrett Rd., Berea, 44017.

At Berea Animal Rescue, they're calling him Mark Twain
Mark Twain is a 3-year old-gray-and-white male cat who bears a striking resemblance to the author himself. Like the author, Mark Twain the cat is very popular, and although he cannot write or talk, he makes everyone smile nonetheless. All Mark Twain desires is a warm lap to lie in, a big window to look out of, and an owner that will cherish him as much as he will cherish them in return. He's waiting at Berea Animal Rescue, 390 Barrett Rd., Berea, 44017.
