Giant Eagle May Offer Cyber Shopping at New Store
Market District to add 'Curbside Express' option
Strongsville's new Market District store could be among the first in the nation to have Curbside Express, an option to shop for your groceries online then pick them up, bagged and waiting, at the store. Giant Eagle officials are seeking to change the design of the Pearl Road store to add about 14,000 square feet, some of which will provide room for bagging and a drive-through grocery pick-up, said Carol Oprea, planning secretary for Strongsville. One of the two out-parcels in the parking lot will be eliminated and the space used for parking.
