18 Properties in Foreclosure Going to Sheriff's Sale in April

Home values range from $82,000 to $400,000

  A total of 18 foreclosed properties are slated for sheriff's sale in April, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's wesbsite.  The parcels include 16 houses, a condo and a vacant parcel. In March, eight homes in foreclosure were sold at auction; three were withdrawn from bidding by orders of the court; one was withdrawn due to bankruptcy and one received no bids. Teachers man picket lines, with reports of chaotic conditions inside Strongsville High School. Teachers' strike part 2 -- Some teachers cross the picket line. Tempers flare in parking lots, with two picketers reporting they were hit by cars and another arrested for blocking a vehicle from entering. Fliers saying "Do you know a scab lives in your neighborhood?" were distributed near the Parma home of a teacher who crossed the picket line.   A total of 13 properties in foreclosure are scheduled to be sold at sheriff's sales in March, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's website. In February, 10 homes were sold at auction, five were removed from the sale list by orders of the court and one did not sell. All of the properties are listed as single-family homes with attached garages, except for the one on Dell Drive, which is a condo. BUT , wait and give it a few months because when the school system tanks because the board of eduaction will not negotiate, you can probably get this same house for half the price, but it wont be much of an investment.   Fifteen homes in foreclosure will be auctioned at sheriff's sales in February, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's website. Houses valued up to $275,000 are going on the auction block this month

  Eleven homes in foreclosure will be auctioned at sheriff's sales in January, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's website. In December, eight properties were sold at auction, eight were withdrawn by the court and one received no bids. January's homes range in value from $50,000 for a Jacque Road property to $275,000 for a newer house on Coopers Run. Four of the 11 are valued at more than $200,000 this month.
