New eatery was supposed to start serving two months ago
There's still no word on when Old Carolina Barbecue will open in Strongsville. The restaurant at 14783 Pearl Road had initially planned to start serving by December, but an undisclosed problem has kept the doors closed. "Still waiting," Ray Hull, general manager of the Strongsville store, said Thursday. "There's no timetable (for opening) yet." The store is open during the day to sell gift cards. They're available in $20 increments, cash only. Hull said there has been plenty of interest in the new barbecue restaurant. "We get people coming in all the time, or peeking in the windows to see if we're open," he said. The store is still hiring. Apply online at jobsbbq.com. It…
