Who Should Replace Pat Shurmur and Tom Heckert?
It's been reported today that the Cleveland Browns' head coach and General Manager Tom Heckert have been fired
Everyone saw it coming after the Cleveland Browns' 24-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, but it was confirmed on Monday: Head Coach Pat Shurmer and General Manager Tom Heckert are gone. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported through Twitter Monday morning that both had been fired after a less-than-stellar 5-11 season. Shurmer had a dismal 9-23 record over his first two seasons as the head coach. He took the position in 2011. Heckert was hired in 2010. With Shurmur out the door, the Browns will begin their search for a new head coach immediately. The Plain Dealer reports some names in the running are University of Oregon coach Chip Kelly, Penn State's Bill O'Brien, Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator and interim head coach Bruce …

Jon Gruden is the right man for this Job. He led a Tampa Bay team that was eerily similiar to the Cleveland Browns new franchise. He came up with the current system but would bring a stronger personality and more discipline that was sorely lacking in the former regime.I think most Cleveland fans want some continuity because we realize that change every few years is part of the problem.   more ›
