Gerry Shamray snares first-place honors for video
Strongsville Patch writer Gerry Shamray won first place in the 2012 Cleveland Press Club awards. Shamray won in the Imaging category for new media. The winning video, attached to this story, culminated his search for the best pizza in Strongville. Among other duties, Shamray reviewed restaurants for Patch, writing as the Strongsville Gourmet. The awards were presented at a banquet Friday night. • On a related note, Strongsville Patch is again having a contest for Best Pizza in town.
