Bill is a graduate of Valley Forge High School, The Ohio State University and Kent State University. He is currently retired after teaching 35 years for the Strongsville City Schools.

He has coached 11 years of basketball, including nine years at the high school level. Bill has announced the Strongsville Varsity football games for cable television for the past 29 years, and can also be heard announcing both boys and girls basketball, baseball, and softball games for cable. 

Bill and his wife, Kathy, have been married for 26 years and have two children, Wendy and Casey. In his spare time Bill likes to golf, travel, work with wood and listen to a variety of music.
