Gerry Shamray is an award winning writer/artist.

He was editor and designer of the entertainment weekly Weekend and has garnered national awards from SNA (Suburban Newspapers of America) and the local Cleveland Press Club for his illustrations and page layouts at Sun Newspapers.

He's worked with the late Harvey Pekar on his immortal "American Splendor" comic book and with "Funky Winkerbean" creator Tom Batiuk on the nationally syndicated comic strip "John Darling."

He's also a local Emmy winner for his work at WVIZ-TV. His creative artwork can be seen at www.shamray.com.
