Former SHS Player Signs with Titans

Woods is an undrafted free agent

Strongsville High School grad DJ Woods has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans, according to NE Patriots Draft and other websites.

Woods is now a wide receiver for the University of Cincinnati.

Coached at SHS by Russ Jacques, the three-year letter-winner was named in 2007 to the Associated Press Division I All-Ohio second team after catching 38 passes. He missed his final games due to injury.

Woods, 22, is the son of Derrick and Kelly Woods.

He amassed 153 receptions for 1,797 yards and 18 touchdowns in his high school career, and also scored on five kickoff returns and three punt returns.
