The Cleveland Memory Project, a photo history of the area being compiled by Cleveland State University, has published some photos from the West Side Market, including some of the late Strongsville Mayor Walter Ehrnfelt, whose ran his family's meat shop there.
Also shown in a photo are sons Walter Jr. and Robert, who took over the business from their dad.
That picture, taken in 1976 for the market's 65th anniversary, shows families who ran stands there for all of the 65 years.
