It's time to start lining up things for the kids to do when school is out

Maybe both Mom and Dad work and need a place for the kids to spend the day. Maybe you want your kids to be enriched this summer.

Or maybe you just don't want to hear them whining about being bored by the end of June.

Regardless, here are some summer camps you can consider this year.

• Day camp at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center

Tri-C has a dozen camps for kids of all ages and interestes, including martial arts, cooking, science, tech, CSI, photography, sports, performing arts, visual arts, dance, young entrepreneurs and fashion.

Camp CheerfulWhile the camp is known for its service to disabled youngsters, parents might not realize its summer day camps are open to all children.

• Young artists in grades 1-12 might like to attend camp at the Cleveland Institute of Art , which offers a number of camps including painting, animation and clay-mation, jewelry and metal-smithing and more.

Broadway Summer Camp at Playhouse Square is aimed at kids 14-19 who want to perform in musical theater.
