Strongsville's First Duck Race Makes a Splash: Photo Gallery

Thousands flock to Kids Fest at Chalet

More than 2,200 yellow ducks took a swim through the Cleveland Metroparks Saturday for the Strongsville's first duck race, sponsored by Strongsville Rotary and Pat Catan's.

Participants were able to sponsor a duck for $10, with the top 10 finishers winning a cash prize -- including a $2,000 first-place award.

The event, held at The Chalet, also included a Kids Fest with inflatables, pony rides, face painting and games.
