Cartoonist Tom Batiuk Will be Guest at Strongsville Library
Author will speak at annual meeting Aug. 14
Tom Batiuk, creator of the Funky Winkerbean and Crankshaft comic strips, will speak at the Strongsville Library at 7 p.m. Aug. 14.
The appearance highlights the annual meeting of the Friends of the Strongsville Library.
Friends members are admitted to the event free of charge. Memberships are $8 per family and are available at the library's front desk or at the door the night of the event.
Batiuk has published a number of books, including Lisa's Story in 2000.
