City Council Books a Date with a Book

Local officials will help remind residents to Reconnect with Reading

Look for local leaders to start popping up on posters around town, but not to promote their own re-election.

City Council members, Mayor Tom Perciak, school board members and others will be featured in the Strongsville Library's Reconnect With Reading campaign, which aims to remind people to pick up a book in their spare time.

"We just want to get the word out that reading is important and show there are community leaders who are reading," said Heather Timko, adult services supervisor for the Strongsville branch.
