11 Places in Strongsville that are Open On Christmas

Need a gift? An ingredient? Entertainment? Here are some options

Sometimes you just need that last-minute Christmas gift. Maybe you drank a little too much Christmas Eve eggnog and could use a jolt of caffeine. What if your oven conks out just as you're putting in the holiday ham? Or your guests are bored?

No worries. Even though it's Christmas, you can handle all those situations close to home. While the vast majority of businesses close on Christmas, we've found a few that will stay open at least part of the day.

Starbucks -- The Strongsville Starbucks, 18062 Royalton Road, will be open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Day.

CVS -- The CVS Pharmacy at 13777 Pearl Rd. is open 24 hours a day, and Christmas will be no exception.

Rite Aid -- Joining the other Strongsville drugstores, Rite Aid, 14701 Pearl Road, will also be open on Christmas Day. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dean House -- The Chinese restaurant at 14393 Pearl Road will be open for dinner from 3 to 8 p.m. Delivery will also be available.

Empire Wok -- Don't want to go out for dinner, but looking for an evening meal? Empire Wok Chinese Carryout, 10917 Prospect Rd., will be open 4-8 p.m.

Domino's -- If your Christmas tradition involves pepperoni, Domino's, 14300 Pearl Road, will be open its regular hours 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Family Video -- You can rent a movie or game between noon and 11 p.m.
