Restaurants, banks, home improvement companies and other businesses brought samples, prizes and contests to the Thursday evening for a Business Expo.
The expo, in its second year, featured more than 90 local businesses -- most from Strongsville, but some from neighboring communities.
"It continues to grow," said Economic Development Director Brent Painter, noting that last year's event drew about 75 vendors. "It's a good community event."
The expo is a collaboration between the city, the and the Strongsville Rotary.
"The city hosts it, but the Rotary and Chamber co-host and had a lot of good ideas," Painter said.
