Dan Mazzola, who owns the , had promised to have the new restaurant open by the end of the month.
It is the 11th Rockne's in northeast Ohio. It has seating for 200 and in the spring will open an outdoor patio with a heated floor.

Next door, the Chick-fil-A now under construction is expected to open Jan. 5.
