A home remodeling company plans to open a showroom at the corner of Pearl and Westwood, taking over the site of a former gas station that has been used by Center Towing.
Architectural Justice, which is based in Medina, is seeking to purchase the old Vining's gas station site at 13593 Pearl Rd., in front of the Strongsville police station.

The company is a full-service design and remodeling center, with a 20,000-square-foot showroom at 2462 Pearl Rd. featuring flooring, granite, stone, cabinetry, custom furniture and kitchen and bath products.
Economic Development Director Brent Painter said the firm plans to keep that existing Medina space and expand here with another showroom.

Company president James Justice could not be reached for comment.
Painter said plans show the company will remodel the former gas station building and add a second floor and an outdoor courtyard.
"It's going to be a good project," he said.
It isn't a done deal, though -- Painter said the company has made and offer to buy the property and it's been accepted, but the contract has not been finalized yet.
Still, it cleared its first hurdle by getting approval last week from Strongsville's Town Center Commission.
The project will have to go to the city's Planning Commission, but will not need a rezoning. The parcel is zoned General Business.
Painter said Center Towing will move the trucks it stores on the lot to its other property on Marks Road.
