2 Cars Stolen -- Oh Wait, There They Are: Police Blotter

Two shoppers reported their cars stolen from the SouthPark Mall area on Black Friday.

Both were found in the lots, although one woman insisted someone must have moved her vehicle from where she left it.

One woman reported her car stolen about 3:15 a.m., saying she had searched for an hour outside Macy's and couldn't find it.

The car was located in the lot.

About 6 a.m., a woman said her Escort was stolen from Kohl's. She told police she left it on the Key Bank side of the store, but officers found it in the west parking lot.

The woman asked police to check for damage, insisting someone took the car and moved it.

No damage was found.

Pull Over, Pedestrian

A passerby reported an elderly man stumbling along Fallingwater Road about 7 p.m. Sunday.

Police found the man was so intoxicated he couldn't stand, and didn't know his name or where he lived.

He was taken to the police station for his own safety.

Kids Running Wild on Trotwood

Residents on  Trotwood Park called police Saturday night about a group of kids causing more trouble.

One man reported Nov. 20 that boys rang his doorbell, then taunted him when he answered the door.

On Saturday, a resident called at 10:30 p.m. about kids toilet papering his bushes. He then went to help a neighbor, who was being targeted by the teens, who were harassing and taunting the man and throwing garbage into his yard.

Police couldn't find the boys, but noted it has become an ongoing problem.

Gunshots Reported

A resident on Quail Hollow Drive reported hearing about six gunshots around 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

Boy's Accounts Hacked

A family reported someone had hacked into their 10-year-old son's Facebook and email accounts and posted explicit photos.

The parents changed the passwords and asked police for advice on how to prevent it from happening again.
