A Bad Weekend for Mailboxes in Strongsville

A dozen streets hit by vandals Friday and Saturday nights

Vandals apparently toured Strongville's neighborhoods over the weekend, knocking down mailboxes as they went.

Calls started coming in to police about 10 p.m. Friday when a Pebble Brook Lane resident heard kids smash several neighbors' mailboxes and drive off.

About 15 minutes later, a woman on Trails Edge Court heard noises, checked outside and found her own mailbox, as well as three of her neighbors' mailboxes, had been hit.
