Attic Fire Damages House on The Bluffs in Strongsville
Cause of blaze still under investigation
A fire in the attic destroyed the roof of a home at 12221 The Bluffs Sunday evening, Fire Chief Jeff Branic said.
The residents, who were home at the time, were alerted to the fire when a smoke alarm went off about 5:50 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, flames were shooting through the roof. The North Royalton, Middleburg Heights and Berea fire departments also responded.
There were no injuries, Branic said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation Sunday night.
