Burglar Slips Into House while Woman Sleeps

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Squirrel Hollow resident came home about 1:30 a.m. Saturday to find doors open and valuables missing from the house. 

A report said the resident's 92-year-old mother was in the house sleeping at the time.

There were no signs of forced entry. Police said the resident had left the sliding glass door closed, but unlocked. It was found standing open.

Money and jewelry were missing from the house. The elderly woman slept through the incident and did not hear anything unusual, police said.
