He was cited for driving with a temporary permit and with expired license plates.

He told police he was the one knocking on doors asking to use a computer.

A Little Cold for That, No?

A passerby on I-71 reported a man with no clothes about 3:45 p.m. March 30.

The indecent man was reportedly near the Route 82 exit, but police checked the area, as well as Mill Hollow Road, and couldn't find him.

Watch Your Wallets, Walmart Shoppers

Two thefts were reported at Walmart last week, although one had a happy ending.

On March 27, a shopper reported her wallet was stolen from her shopping cart.

On March 30, a woman told police she walked away from her cart -- where she had left her purse -- and someone wheeled it off.

It turned out to be a mistake. An elderly couple had apparently thought it was their cart.

When they realized their mistake, they left the cart in an aisle instead of alerting an employee. All the contents were still in the purse.

Signs Damaged

Two residents complained their signs supporting striking Strongsville teachers were tampered with.

On Royalton Road, a resident said someone spray-painted two signs in her tree lawn the night of March 27.

On March 29, someone removed a sign from a Prospect Road yard. Police advised the woman to place signs closer to her house so they are not so easy to carry off.
