Strongsville Police Blotter: Sneakers Reveal a Sneaky Situation

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A pair of sneakers left in a neighbor's yard told the tale of an illicit romance, according to a report.

A Brushwood Lane man told police he found a pair of sneakers in his yard June 6. Inside the seakers were a set of keys and a wallet, which he turned over to police.

Police discovered the wallet -- and shoes -- belong to a 19-year-old who two years ago was dating a teenage girl in the neighborhood. The girl's father disapproved of the romance and the boy moved out of state.
