The first citywide garage sale is set for June 7, 8 and 9.
Ward 4 Councilman Scott Maloney said has been so popular, he and the other ward councilman -- Mike Daymut, Matt Schonhut and Jim Carbone -- decided to expand it to include the whole city.
The plan is to have the sale every year on the first weekend after school lets out for the summer.

Residents hosting a garage sale do need to get a permit from the city's Building Department, Maloney said.
