More than 600 Homes in Strongsville Still Have No Power

First Energy says it hopes to have electricity restored by Sunday

 

Strongsville weathered the effects of Hurricane Sandy relatively well, but there are still 616 homes without power in Strongsville Friday morning, according to First Energy.

It's a fraction of the number in other communities like Parma, where more than 3,600 households still have no electricity.

First Energy said it hopes to restore power to all customers by Sunday.

The Ehrnfelt Recreation Center serves as an emergency shelter for any Strongsville residents without power who no longer wish to stay in their homes.
